Repair and Servicing of your hand tools can either be completed in the field or in-house at one of our regional workshops.

Preventive Maintenance Service Program
These programs are designed to keep your equipment running by improving reliability. In turn Preventative Maintenance programs will minimise costly, unexpected interruptions and downtime that may result from equipment failure.
To implement an effective maintenance strategy and improve the reliability of your equipment, Signode will:
- Complete an in depth inspection of the machine(s). This is to determine the current status of the equipment and associated components.
- Complete a report outlining the minimum requirements needed to enable the effective implementation of a preventative maintenance strategy.
- Work which must be completed in order to meet the minimum maintainable standard.
- Labour costs and time required to complete the work.
- Spare parts availability and costs.

Through Signode's Service Maintenance Agreements your equipment will be maintained according to an agreed maintenance schedule. Costly production interruptions will be reduced and your equipment will operate at the required levels. Service Maintenance Agreements include regularly scheduled visits from an experienced Signode service technician. Our technicians perform a complete inspection and annual overhaul of your machine and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
Signode Service Maintenance Agreements may cover the cost of parts, labour and travel, which enables you to budget a fixed cost for service and parts over the life of the contract. This also allows you to reduce the administrative expense of issuing service or replacement part orders. And, since our service technicians carry the majority of repair parts required for your equipment, you can reduce your investment on spare parts inventory.
Signode has full-time, fully trained service technicians with years of experience. In most cases, you'll receive your regularly scheduled visits from the same technician, so you have the added value of someone that knows all about your operation, equipment and your service requirements.Training
Training is very important to run your Signode Power Equipment in the most effective and reliable way, and to guarantee long term performance excellence for your production requirements.
We provide several diversified training programs for customers' technicians as well as dealers and distributors.
Technical training for customers' technicians includes training on Machines, Strapping Heads, Film Carriages, Hand Tools and Inline equipment.
